Event Details

WE ARE BACK AND RACING!

 

Any car clubs wishing to attend any event can book club stand areas and can be eligible for a club wide gate entry discount!

We welcome all spectators, young and old, families are especially welcome, there are food vendors onsite, toilet facilities, ample parking, disabled parking and a viewing area.   spectator seating and a viewing platform is also available, close to the action and the pit areas. We also offer FREE CAMPING to racers, crew and spectators who want to make a weekend of it.  You can enjoy early arrival and late departure as well.  We also enjoy alot of amenities and attractions close by.  Within 2 mins drive of our entrance there is a Petrol Station, Asdas Mini Mart, Mcdonalds, Costa Coffee, Subway, two Pubs, Two Hotels, Manston Historic Air museum and the Spitfire Museum,  With Ramsgate, Broardstairs and Margate just a couple of miles away. 

Gate opens at 8:00am all days, the track goes live at 10:00am.

We race until we are done, usually 5/6pm but can run later if required.

All pairings will be drawn out of our famous hat for every round so they are always randomised.  Decent Trophies for Winner and runner-up.  A sixteen and above car count for the Flowtech Street Car Shootout will result in prize money being given courtesy of our sponsor. 

No-Prep is heads up, no rules other than tire size, 1/8th mile heads up doorslamer drag racing. We race both days and have eliminations both days. 1/2 mile roll racing as well as 1/2 mile drag racing with timing tickets provided. ALL GENERAL SAFETY RULES WILL APPLY and crash helmets are mandatory so please bring one with you. STRICTLY street cars, any questions please contact us, DO NOT ASSUME that it will be alright. PLEASE NOTE: On this day ONLY, there will be no 1/8th or 1/4 mile racing.

 

Sunday April 19th 2026 - RWYB and Street Car Shootout Hosted By "South London Retro Power Crew"

We are the original South London Retro Crew, keeping the Retro and Classic Car scene alive and kicking! Originating in South London, and now well known throughout the UK, with many followers from all over the country, we are an all makes inclusive group, but we especially love an old tuned & modified Classic Ford! We have large group displays at the biggest show events through the year and also hold our own regular well known Sunday morning breakfast cruises. If you have a fast Classic Ford then come along and have some 1/4 mile heads up action, with some of the best known and quickest Classic Fords in the UK!
Any other classic make or model is more than welcome!
Come and join us in 2026 for some proper grass roots No Prep 1/4 mile action this year at Manston Park Raceway!
